We’re Palm Beach's Trusted Smart Home & AV Company & So Much More...

We’ve all seen beautiful homes held hostage by bad technology. Our certified installers use products we trust ourselves and follow disciplined standards so systems work smoothly, stay dependable, and never become the problem they were meant to solve.

Meet Palm Beach Electronics

We Follow a Disciplined Approach to Tech Integration

Home technology should simplify decision-making, not introduce uncertainty. Palm Beach Electronics was founded on the belief that integrated systems should perform consistently, remain intuitive to operate, and respect the design and construction process.

Led by owner and CEO Zak Deily, our team brings decades of hands-on experience across system design, installation, and long-term support. That perspective informs every recommendation we make as an audio-video company serving Palm Beach and the surrounding areas.

We apply disciplined product standards across audio, video, lighting, networking, security, and control systems to reduce service issues and deliver predictable results. Many of the solutions we install are systems we rely on ourselves. If a product fails to meet our expectations for performance and longevity, it does not become part of a client project.

PBE’s Mission

Our mission is to serve as a trusted smart home, home theatre, and audio-video company in Palm Beach and along the Treasure Coast. We deliver integrated solutions with discipline and clarity, and we strive for accountability in all we do. As smart home contractors and home theatre and lighting designers, we work closely with homeowners, builders, and design professionals to integrate simplified experiences.

We focus on thoughtful planning and consistent execution so our clients can enjoy reliable long-term service across audio, video, lighting, security, networking, and control systems. Every recommendation is guided by real-world experience and a commitment to doing the work right, so homeowners and partners can move forward with confidence.

Our Vision

Our vision is to set a higher standard for residential technology integration throughout Palm Beach, Broward County, and South Florida. As a Control4 Pinnacle dealer, we’re the company you can trust for media design, shades, lighting, and so many other smart living solutions. We believe technology should feel intentional and dependable, always well-coordinated with architecture, design, and lifestyle preferences.

We aim to be the partner clients trust for long-term guidance, not just installation. Through ongoing education, hands-on showroom experiences, disciplined system design, and service-driven support, we strive to deliver smart home and audio-video solutions that remain relevant, reliable, and easy to live with as homes, projects, and technology continue to evolve.

Scott Mckenzie

As Vice President of Operations and Design, I oversee day-to-day operations, project planning, and team coordination to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. My role includes managing employee scheduling and reviews, leading production meetings, maintaining project timelines with builders, and overseeing the Design, Engineering, and Low Voltage teams to ensure quality and progress. I'm also involved in product development, purchasing, onboarding, and providing overall project support across the company.

I began my career in 1996 in residential security systems and later became a Lead Automation Programmer after completing my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer training. Since then, I've built a career in home automation that continues to challenge and excite me every day.

What motivates me most is working for a company that values both its clients and employees, combined with the ever-evolving nature of technology and the uniqueness of each project we take on.

I'm proud of all the things we have accomplished since the company started in a tiny warehouse setting 14 years ago with only 5 employees to what we are today. We have gone through so many ups and downs and persevered under Zak's leadership.

What keeps me motivated is seeing a project come together and knowing the end result makes a real difference for the client.

One thing I'm most proud of is how the company consistently delivers quality work while continuing to grow. Maintaining strong standards while expanding isn't easy, and being part of that progress is something I value.
